Ok guys the wife just changed my mind I get to spend money! So I want to cam the car was thinking an A/I kit also I need an experienced installer I have a few buddys that do older cars but I have trust issues lol any help is greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have a good tech for a cam install? I know my limits and wouldn't even try it . Thanks guys

Find a reputable shop in your area, install arp rod and main bolts, and have them install the cam. Unless you don't plan on tearing the whole thing apart. I understand you're low mileage but it just all depends how far you want to go with it, how much money you have to spend and how reliable you want it to be.

I have the LE version of that cam (pretty close in specs). It's a great cam AI or LE.

Remember you need to do a full supporting valve train. 1.6rrs, pushrods, springs, guide plates, etc.
All of this you may know already just giving you my 2 cents

thanks, I was planning on changing the valve train just to be safe. Just can't find a shop also does LE have kits or do you have to piece everything together?

That I'm not sure, but he can recommend everything to you with part numbers and everything.
