  • F.A.S.T. intake and Nick Williams Throttle body

    Anyone running the F.A.S.T. intake with the 90 MM Nick Williams Throttle body? Thinking about switching to this setup in the spring. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Larry

      What mods do you have? Unless you're a H/C or a larger cid it's not worth it IMO. If you're cam only do an LS6 and ported TB. Mike

        I will be switching to a ported fast 90, GmPP snigle plane or a wilson sheet metal over the winter

          Hey Mike, Thanks for the info.. I already have a LS6 intake w/ported throttle body. What you said it what I've read elsewhere too.. Not enough gain to make it worth the 1100-1200 buck investment. Thanks, Larry

          Here's my mods so far:

          Drivetrain Upgrades

          -Ed wright power tuning
          -Extreme comp cam , -Titanium valves, springs and pushrods, Yella Terra Roller Rockers
          -30Lb injectors , -Polished mass airflow ends, -Ported throttle body, -Volant cold air kit, -ASP pulley>>

          -10mm plug wires, -SLP high flow radiator, -160 degree thermostat, -Mallbro 255 inline fuel pump
          -TNT 125 HP powershot nitrous kit, -Dual billet nitrous tanks with blankets>>

          -Hurst linelock
          -TCI built transmission, -B&M large tranny pan, -Vigilante 3200 RPM stall converter>>

          -Carbon fiber driveshaft, -3:73 gears with rearend girdle>>
          -SLP long tube headers ceramic coated, -Off road Y-pipe, -Mufflex 4” exhaust

          Suspension upgrades>>

          -Nitto 555 extreme tires, -18” Budnik rims>>
          -Q.A.1-12 way adjustable shocks and springs
          -SLP subframe connectors
          -Adjustable panhard rod, -Upper panhard rod>>


          -BMR lower control arm relocation brackets, -BMR adjustable lower control arms

          -Ceramic coated strut tower brace
          -SLP driveshaft loop
          -Random tech adjustable torque arm>>

            Keep the LS6 until your big H/C or go FI like said you'll be fine as you are now. I do have to add that I love the way mine looks though
