  • Got my dual/dual stainless exhaust installed

Bought Jim's (birdie2000) stainless, over the axle 2.5" true dual exhaust and got it all put on. I loved the sound of my old set up dumped at the axle, but the exhaust smell drove me crazy. Seems like there are a lot of exhaust threads going on right now so here's mine. First pic is of my car, last 2 are of Jim's car, but looks pretty much the same. The system is much quieter than my old set up, but I love the way it sounds. It has absolutely zero rasp. I will post a video soon. I didn't notice any power loss at all, so I doubt I will put any cutouts in.

Glad you like it Ryan! Shame you couldn't use more of the front section, sorry about that, figured they'd at least reuse the X-pipe and some of the bends.

        Looks awesome!

Which shop did you use to do the modifications? I need to have mine chopped and tucked up higher, then welded back nicely.

As far as I know he used the same shop that originally built the exhaust for me, Gautz Enterprises in Whitmore Lake.

Thanks guys. I really like it. I will get a video up by the weekend. The guy who did it was the same guy that did it the first time for Jim. It was Jeff at Gautz Enterprises in Whitmore Lake. They are not really an exhaust shop, they are more of a fabrication shop, but Jeff does it on the side. He does really, really nice work. Not the fastest, but definitely a perfectionist. His prices I thought were pretty reasonable too. They are sponsors on MM. If anyone is looking to get a similar set up, pm me and I will get you his cell number.

I have the front part w/ x pipe if you would like that back since I couldn't use it. Let me know!

I thought that too when he gave me the pipe back. I will drop it off to you sometime next week.
