Very true, but something's obviously wrong with my car (EGR Valve or Clogged Cat being the top two possibilities) but yet my car isn't throwing any codes at all.

well i took it to 3 places today and they all said that they really didnt know... they said it could be running to lean... the egr on my car is messed up would that have something to do with it, because i dont want to spend 200 dollars on this part and have it not do anything....

I would get the cat cut off and get a pipe welded in place. I would almost guarantee that it is an emissions problem. Is your temp gauge in working order?

yea my temp gauge is working.... i am going to replace the egr valve because it is like melted a little in one spot and that is the only code that is ever picked up in my car.....so im gonna change that and hopefully the car runs better.... the problem with the exhaust manifolds turning red i think is gone.... i have been checking lately and they havent been red so...
