  • Need you guys Help....

Hey guys and girls i am planning on doing exhaust on my 1998 Z28 (ls1) camaro and i am trying to figure what headers i should run. I would prefer Hooker Headers but because i lowered my car 1.5 inches i am scared they well hit the ground to much. So i was wonder what shorties headers you guys suggest. Thanks guys Keith

i had slp long tubes on my car and its got an eibach pro kit wihich i think it lowers it 2.5" and i never hit them on anything. i also had true dual 3" and never scraped. i could go over speed bumps (very slowly) and go up steep driveways etc.

Don't get shorties, you will hate yourself for it. So much more power from longtubes. Go with pacesetter. They have been around for a long time and 99.9% of the time are a perfect fit.

I was lowered on a pro kit too and I didn't have any ground clearance issues. I believe there are 2 sets of longtubes for sale on here for pretty cheap!

I have BBK on mine, and they have AWSOME ground clearance along with the y pipe. Also iv never installed a better fitting header along with how easy they where to install. Great price too.

Seems like the most popular headers on here have been Pacesetter. Everyone says they fit good.

Unless you are ridiculously lowered, you won't have an issue.

                    LT's or go home.

BBK seems to be real popular for the price, but some guys dont like the Y pip..I think its a tad smaller diameter..

Good combo would be Pacesetter LT's with a TSP ORY...or catted.

Or if you want to go a little pricier, Kook or ARH

i want to do long tubes with a y with out cats so i am looking for that perfect setup that i can just bolt those together than finishing running it after the y pipe.

Like previously stated. Best set up, price wise, and good quality thats been proven over and over again

Pacesetter LT's and TSP ORY is the most popular combo.
