Help making ls1 intake for lt1 car!

I have a 95 camaro that i swaped a ls1 in. The only thing im missing in the intake.
NO one sells anything, and i emailed K&N if they had something, but they just couldnt think outside the box for me.

I pretty sure I can use the stock lt1 set up, but I cant find one. The oval intake elbow WILL fit on the 4" ls1 throttle body.
I like making things, But im kinda stuped on this one. I cant find a 4" 90 degree rubber elbow, along with where the iat sensor and maf would go.
Anyone have any ideas?

do you mean you put an lt1 in it? as in it was a v6? and you are talking about an air intake, not the intake manifold? http://www.hps-siliconehoses.com/?gc...FQjCKgodqTPObw thats where i got my couplers. you can get different sizes etc. for my iat sesnor, i bought one from a gmc tyhpoon as its a threaded sensor, and had a bung welded in a piece of pipe. hope i kinda gave you an idea.

i saw a stock lt1 air intake on craigslist this morning. I had searched "camaro". think he wanted $25 for it.

I've seen quite a few guys on TGO using the GTO K&N intake. Not sure if that would work or not in an LT1 car..

I'd just keep your eyes open for an lt1 part out. Why don't you do the lid conversion? Or fab up an aftermarket lt1 intake to fit your ls1 intake mani?

Just get about 2 feet of straight aluminum and 1 90 degree bend. Mock it up yourself and take it somewhere and have it welded.

No, It is a 1995 z28, it had a lt1 originally, I put a 1999 LS1 in it. And Im talking air intake, sorry about my crappy info.
And wow $80 for a 4" 90 degree piece? And Yes I was going to get a threaded iat, My friend bought one for a tyhoon for his procharged ls1.

I was looking at thoes, and found one on craigslist. But with the bend thats in the pipe, the air filter goes right where my fuse box is.

Yes iv been looking. I want to do the lid conversion latter down the road but right now I want to drive the car. And I think im just going to buy a cheap aftermaket 94-97 lt1 intake kit.

That was a option too. I Have acsess to a tig welder.

Also on a stock lt1, where is the IAT sensor located?
