    Any good exhaust shops around Royal Oak?

    Any good shops around Royal Oak? Tried calling around, most places wont touch non catted cars/closed on Saturdays...my one day off. Any recommendations....or anyone have a lift and wants to weld? I say around Royal Oak but willing to drive a decent distance.

      The one time it pays to live out in the boonies instead of Detroit. I would wager that most exhaust shops around here see more non catted vehicles than catted

        TLC were kind of dicks to me on the phone, and they are closed weekends, I was hoping to do this tomorrow. SK said they could get me in on Tuesday, If it still isnt done by then Ill probably end up there.

                Legally, they cannot even touch a car that has had the cats removed from it unless they are replacing the entire exhaust system and putting the cats back on.
                When in doubt, Whip it out !

                          I used S&K for my last few exhaust problems and would gladly go back again. Before that, I used Correct Car Care in Madison Heights (John R N. of 11 Mile). A guy named "Joe Mama" (according to his mechanic's shirt patch) did the custom exhaust work there. They did a lot of pickups, IIRC.
