Well i cant figure out this noise, not rockers, pushrods, lifters, all i got left is Springs or the valve guides? Has anybody here had to re-do valve guides and if so where did you get it done and how much $$$ ?

Hey, i'm not sure what your capabilities are to getting to them, but you can check the valve guides by taking the valve, put it in the guide and wiggle them while moving it in and out...if theres some play...then you may need it replaced. If you do this make sure to put them back the right order.
When i was planning on getting new heads, they talked about replacing the guides, and they said it would have been about $265 to do them. (This is while changing heads, so prices may be different if they need to do the labor from scratch) But mine did not need replacing. I've also never heard of the newer cars needing new guides, but anythings possible.
Another way if you really think its the guides, you can get them knurlled, i'm unsure of pricing or anyone who does it around here, but this is more of a cheap fix, IF they know what there doing.
