  • Sick of dumped exhaust, go duals or finish ORY setup?

    Currently I have -

    Pacesetter LT's
    Pacesetter ORY
3" Dynomax bullet (dumped just before rear end)

I got a quote from an exhaust shop that it would be no more than $150 to have my current setup ran over the axle and out the back. (not including tips)

I am debating on getting another Dynomax bullet and taking it to them and having them run duals out over the axle and out the back. Now on the down side, this would be another 50 bucks for another bullet and probably close to 300 for them to do the rest of the exhaust.

Suggestions? I am leaning toward running what I have and having them run it out the back, since I need tires, wheels powdercoated, brakes, etc etc... the list goes on.

Duals would sound better. Wouldn't gain much power.

Why not go over the axle with one pipe, then split to two like stock (minus the muffler)? You're probably not going to gain anything but a headache by splitting into two pipes from your current turn-down location and going over the axle with both pipes (there simply isn't enough room to do so). Or are you saying, scrap what you have except the muffler and have them fab up a true dual setup?

I planned running one pipe over the axle then split to two. basically like a loudmouth setup.

I paid $103 shipped. I got a quote of 150 bucks to have it ran over the axle and out the back without tips! Which isnt stainless. The on i picked up used with tips is. I think i made out pretty good
