Does anyone know how GMMG's chambered cat-back system flows?? Considering a set of headers this year, but don't want to waste the money if the chambered exhaust is going to be too restrictive to gain anything.

GMMG is considered one of the better flowing catbacks out there. Do yourself a favor and get a catted Y-pipe tho. Its very loud and very raspy with LT's without them.Originally posted by TheMyth View PostDoes anyone know how GMMG's chambered cat-back system flows?? Definately a subjective subject. GMMG + LTs = LOUD...no disputing that. Have a Corsa myself....love it. Not a fan of cat-less systems...
LT list should start with Kooks or American Racing...everything else is a placeholder until you upgrade to them. My .02Last edited by OVRKILL; December 23rd, 2010, 01:37 AM.sigpic
o·vr·kill [oh-ver-kil]1. an excess of what is required or suitable, as because of zeal or misjudgment.

Honestly, you may want to get the GMMG with your stock headers and see if you like it, then go to long tubes.
GMMG was developed around stock manifolds, not LT headers.
IMO all the cars that sound REALLY good...have LS1, stock manifolds, and GMMG.

I have been running the GMMG cat-back for 3 years now with my stock manifolds, and like it a lot. That is why I was asking the question. I am planning on a swap to a LS6 intake and considering LTs for a few extra ponies, but if it wasn't gonna be worth anything, then I wasn't going to waste my time since I have no plans to get rid of the GMMG, I like it too much. The car is a DD. Thanks for the input guys.

I understand that Quick Time Performance and Texas Speed Performance both have quality systems, all of which look to be a bit of coin. Just asking and shopping around at this point.
