If your thinking of doing a LT1 swap in a thirdgen unless all the parts are either given to you or bought DIRT cheap I would be with James and say go LSOriginally posted by Gaspo View Postlol true... the t5 should bolt up to the lt1.. in 93 they used the 700r4 if i remember right one the lt1's and in 94 they switched to the 4l60. do lt1 swap! lol

Used to be a guy on here that had one. It's not very popular anymore now that LS motors can be had for cheap and are better in just about every way.Originally posted by Gaspo View Posthe's alredy got the lt1. need to buy a computer. new gaskets etc. has anyone on here done the lt1 swap into a 3rd gen?sigpicTurbo Charged LS1/T56

Billet Specialties tall center bolt from summit or jegs. If you put roller rockers on you either buy taller valve covers or modify the stock ones.
I'm pretty sure your car will run just fine without the EGR. Check engine light may come on but lack of an EGR system won't hurt the engine.

Stickers. Decided not to re-apply the front end stickers after a re-paint, so on the valve covers they went. GMPP has some cool "Pontiac" cast aluminum valve covers too.
