  • Best e-cut-out?

What's the word on the street about who makes the best e-cutout? Some of the designs I see look pretty solid and other look really cheap. Looking to pick-up a set for the IROC this winter.

although I have a QTP I'd actually recommend DMH. Mine seems to work great but its not the fastest one around. I know the one Brian has comes with a lifetime warranty, that sounds good too.

I ran my DMH for 4-5 years and then sold it for $150. I used the daylights out of it and it saw rain and everything else. Only problem I ever had was the set screw coming loose and having to tighten it - 2 minute fix.

I have a RaceReady cutout from Creight. Like Jeff said, it comes with a lifetime warranty. I haven't had to do anything with it in the past 2 years - it just works.

I bought the DMH Electric Cutouts for my car a year ago, but I have not had time to install them yet.
The reason it is taking me so long to install them is because there is a very limited area that I can install them because of ground clearance issues.
They will be on the car by this Spring.

After doing research DMH is where its at. If all goes well, next year I will be picking up a low profile oval one

:X2:, I've always been told DMH were one of the better ones, but I own a QTP. I just got done replacing my switch on it (It would open but not close) but otherwise it has worked great for the 125 i paid for the stainless y, cutout, and wiring/switch.

So DHM sounds like the winnar....I like the low profile units but don't like how the install on the side of the pipe. I remember reading about a new style cutout just came out on the market that used a slide gate vs. the butterfly but can't find any info on it.

                              Found them...http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DOU-DEC300AK
