I have no upgrade but a simple coolant bypass... Right now I want to open up the sound and exhaust for under 60 bucks. What are your thoughts? Also...Air intake advice on a budget??

Exhaust: get a cutout. $30 part, ~$30 install at a shop = $60
Intake: remove the factory airbox, and use a clamp-on cone filter on the end of the other plastic piece. Also get rid of the donkey dong in the elbow, plug it with a shampoo bottle or something.
-OR- you could do the LS1 lid mod and really see some gains. its cheap but its a good 3-4 hour project.-Joel

I have the flowmaster 2 chamber cat back (american thunder) and love it. Flows well and sounds great. But you have to get the 2 chamber, not the 3 chamber. The 3 chamber is to quiet and very restrictive.

I actually had a really nice writeup until my domain host screwed me over, now i have to re-create it. the basic idea of it is this:Originally posted by klrlt1 View Post
Where did you get the lid and what did you have to do to get it to fit? link or pics?
1) First follow this guide to make the lid fit: http://www.lt1engine.com/tech/ls1-li...k-camaro-hood/
2) Get an LS1 radiator support. cut out the center and shave down the bottom so that it fits down snug around the lid, and looks factory.
edit: here is a crappy "in process" picture... which is all i have right now, sorries. This was taken before i did most of the cutting on the LS1 rad support.
