A few weeks ago I found out my exhaust had a piece of the stock I-pipe which is 2.75 inchs. I was wondering is this was a major restriction on my car? It was before my the cut-out in my exhaust.
According to some things Ive read If my engine is around 440bhp Ill need around 968cfm of exhaust flow. 440X2.2CFM=968CFM
Also according to what Ive read a 2.75 inch pipe has 5.937sq Inchs of area. For every Sq inch a pipe will flow 115cfm so at that rate my exhaust can only flow 5.937x115=682CFM
So if that if its right my exhaust seems very restrictive. What kind of loses has this been giving me? I just ordered a TSP True dual exhaust kit with moroso spiral flow mufflers I wondering what I should Pickup by switching?
