    Ok so my Insurance company is buying me a complete new system, I decided on the SLP tuned length long tube headers, SLP loudmouth II exhaust and got some stainless 3" pipe to put in place of Cats. Now ive been informed that the Tuned long tube headers are discontuned. I have a 2 in drop and was told by SLP tech support said that those headers only sit abut 1/2in farther down than stock.... so no that I cant get those headers what should I get??

    Whats the difference in tuned and not tuned headers?

      tuned=equal length? I've heard slp's aren't that great anyway.

        Pace Setters aren't bad and hug the bottom decent.

        Hookers sit further down than most so I would stay away from them.

          im happy with my kooks, but they have a horrible connection with the borla. i guess it depends on what kind of parts youre matching up. from what i understand, most people go with pacesetters. personally, i wouldnt put anything slp on my car

                      So Finally after 4 months of fighting with the insurance company I got my new exhaust on, I got Kooks Headers with their ORY pipe and SLP loudmouth II system looks and sounds Awsome. I think the Owner of the shop that i had do the work got a woodie from the way it went together, looked and sounded. he said he is going to recomend this to all his customer that are looking for this type of setup. Got my Monies worth if my insurance premium this year the total bill was over $2500. I got it all done just in time to leave the shop and drive it to storage =-(

                        Glad you ended up getting the Kooks. What happened for them to have to buy you an new exhaust system? And I definitely know how you feel, I bought my car on a Saturday and by Wednesday I had put it away for storage already
