ARP Head Studs?

Has anyone ever installed these? Im trying to figure out if i use any thread locker or Teflon tape on them?

tape shouldnt be used anywhere in an engine
if they go into coolant maybe paste. no thread lock because the stud is left loose (not bottomed) and must turn when tightening

Thanks Man...also how do i know how far i turn them down into the block?

normally its like 1/4 turn from being bottomed out.
they should turn all the way in by hand.

ARP recommends their specific lube on the bolts, I just broke down and bought a big tube. If not they recommend using motor oil, not loctite.

I heard that they do for putting the bolts on...but i was trying to find something to lock the studs in place.

FWIW:
I installed mine (3800) using Teflon Paste on the block end, and tightened to 11 ft# (IIRC) then used their moly lube on the head side
