ls1 intake to ls6 intake wth????
Well, I ordered n ls6 intake, suppose to be here today. So I got the coolant lines needed for the swap. Got to workin on it today got the intake pulled off, and what do you know.....the ls6 style front coolant pipe is already on there as well as the rear lines being plugged......do I already have an ls6 intake??????? the part # on the intake is 12561184. I called up the dealer to see if they can match the part # but they said the # is bad so they dont know. I bought the car with work already done on it and the guy sold it to a 2nd hand dealer and moved out to cali. They wouldnt give me his name or number to contact him back then so I have no way of knowing what all he did to this TA.

easiest way to tell is look at the bottom, is it flat or concave. Sounds like you've already got one so sell the other and buy some other go fast parts

Can't you also tell by looking if it has a port for the EGR on top or is that a vette thing?
BTW my LS6 intake will likely be for sale later this summer.

Not sure about carfax, I would doubt they'd show previous owners, but you never know. I used auto check when I bought mine.. No names were given out, just where registered and mileage.

what i paid for it $340 plus shipping but you your in my city $310. its a brand new intake its never even seen a motor yet lol well it saw mine today from the box it sat in.the seals are fresh as turd nuggets. the sensor in the back in brand new as well. its a shame i already have an ls6 intake i was hopin to gain a few hp with thisComment
