    LPP fitment has everything to do with the engine and setup than the headers themselves. They're made on a jig and each set is identical. The problem is that every engine is not identical - sag from the engine mounts, trans mount, even the angle of your intermediate pipe is going to affect how much clearance you have with the headers. The problem that LPP has is that they're made to fit tight against the car whereas Pacesetters give you a bit more clearance. I'd still rather do stainless steel than pacesetters any day of the week, though. When I put my LPPs on the second time and had no clearance, I actually got a little more clearance as I worked on the intermediate pipe.
    Stainless is nice but will radiate more heat out into the engine bay where as the Coated headers actually keep the heat in the header and exhaust it out the rear.

      any issues with the hookers?
      i installed a set about a month ago on an ls1 and they also hit the kmember
      that wasnt the real issue though. lol they weld the o2 bung on without drilling the hole

            i have had 2 sets of pacesetter headers, the first was just painted and they were pretty rusty so i got the ebay pacesetter style(stainless steel) and just installed them this winter, no fitment issues and no worry about rust or any thing.. and look great. pretty cheap also but like everyone is saying i would probably stick with the pacesetter style, unless you want to have fitment issues, or you might get lucky, who knows.
