  • New Breathing Tubes For The Bird

I ordered a new exhaust system for my 'bird today.

    Hedman Hedders

    Hooker Aero Chamber Mufflers

Then 2.5" Mandrel bent exhuast tubing with an H-Pipe.

Should sound and flow alittle better than the manifolds and cherry bombs.

You want those headers blasted and painted with the eastwood stuff?

That black paint will burn off first start up.

They're supposed to come Thursday. I'm busy that night so prolly Friday night I'll work on installing it. Should prolly start spraying the manifold bolts with WD-40 so they'll come off.

Yeah you will probably bust a couple, its innevitable.

What exhaust kit did you get? Did it come with clamps? if not then you'll have to weld it all up.

Looking forward to hearing it though. Dont know whether it will be louder because of the headers or quieter because its a chambered muffler vs your current straight thru.

Came home from work today and the exhaust was in the garage. I couldn't work on the car tonight though b/c i had band practice, and then tomorrow i can't b/c of a concert. Friday I finally get to dig into it. Im so excited I cant wait.
