  • cutout question

    Do i need low profile cutouts for the ls1 or can I do the standard. i dont like the way the low profile weld up. See link for details.

    Duals in the y pipe? id recommend the lo pros.

    But for a single in the i pipe a standard is fine.

      I want to say Larry has those in his Bird, but I can't remember totally.

      I had a standard DMH 3 incher, but it was welded under my rear seat, and it was in a 3rd gen.

        I guess I dont really have on answer to your question...

        but i will be running Kooks 2" primary, to 3-1/2" collector, with a 3-1/2" cutout on each side.

          I am running dual low profiles on my ORY.. Dave does not list his low profiles on his website, but if you call, you can order them and they are cheaper than Maryland speed.. 2nd link is installed pics..

            what spencer said, low pros if your doing dual cutouts but single will be fine with a standard in the I pipe.
