The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. I don't have a code, but I'm leaking coolant outside of the engine and it looks like it's coming from the intake manifold...on my 96 camaro with a 3800. I'm just looking for any advice from anybody who has done this job before...like what other gaskets I will need and tips on just anything you can think of...and I want to know if it's okay to drive as long as I keep coolant in it, or if it's hurting anything else...but I think since it leaks outside that it doesn't get in the engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Just went through this on my lt1 engine. take a mirror and look in the back of engine. Shine a flashlight into mirror it will reflect to engine and you can see back there. I was thinking manifold too, but ended up blown head gasket and eventually leaked into cylinder aswell. You can drive it I was topping of radiator every day, not a good thing to do though.

1998 Trans Am Convertible A4 - WS6 hood, WS6 air lid, WS6 rims, drilled/slotted rotors.
iv done it on a 3800 in a W-body. (grand prix/boneville) its not a bad job, like 4 hours or so. just manifold gaskets im sure.. my sisters had plastic manifold so it was different. but same problem.
