The problem with that is it doesn't cure anything with the windows down. The exhaust draws a lot of unwanted attention and doesn't sound good at part throttle, its raspy as all hell.

I bought 25 square feet to cover the whole back hatch area. I ordered wayyy too much, I still probably have 15+ square feet in my garage. I think I got that and a coupl other odds and ends for $30 shipped (shipping is kinda pricey)Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Posthmmm I may be interested, about how much is needed to cover the entire floor on an f body?
20 sq. ft. would be more than enought to cover the ENTIRE floor of an f body

wow
didnt know soo many have had bad dealings with the LM exhausts..anything is going to be loud if you plan on LT headers and o/r pipe..if you plan on just a catback or leaving the cats then the LM is probably the only option since nothing else will ultimately make your car sound like it even has an exhaust..or worst case senerio, get the LM system and if it is too loud, just buy a dynomax or flomaster muffer and swap it out, or add the "race bullet" to the existing system..theres so many options out there...
or you could just gut the existing muffler since its all stainless anyways and try that? in-expensive and at worst if it sounds like poo poo you were planning on swapping it anyways..worth a try maybe?
seriously go on you-tube and check em out for yourself..you really do need to hear it for yourself and not base your decision on any other opinion bc ultimately the call is yours either way..sigpic
