Just save up for LT's and ORY man. It will wake whatever exhaust you have up now 100% + your going to gain a lot more power than just going to a different catback.

I picked up my LT's and ORY brand new for $468 shipped.

      Slp lm1

I currently "STILL" own a SLP LM1 sytem on my car with long tubes and off road y and I am very pleased with it. Granted I dont do much highway driving but as long as you keep the rpm's under 2500 while cruising (75mph in 6th gear = 1900) which isnt hard trust me, and you wont even notice you have an after market system on your car (barely noticable). If you want to hear your exhaust (why you bought a performance car) then get the SLP, nothing else compares and in my opinion sounds as good. Just go on youtube and hear them for yourself and base your decision off that. Try not to let the SLP haters influence your descion. Im am just giving you my 2 cents since I OWN the system myself.

      Good luck!

try using it in an automatic where you can't stick it in 6th gear. you'll know why we hated lol. I'm glad you like it after all, I guess whether you have a manual or or auto should be factored into the owning decision didn't think about that before, I know mine on a highway was completely awful, and yes I OWNED it myself lol

Yes its much different with an auto car. The converter helps add to the drone.

                    haha my bad

I completely forgot; yes I can see why all the automatic guys would poo- poo on the LM1..

Yes I like it so far and having the 6-speed to drop into is nice..didnt mean to try to rub it in for anyone, I just assumed the guy who asked the original question had a 6-speed is I thought it was an "SS" which most were ordered with the manny..

                    my bad.. hahahaha

real quick and not to change the subject but does anyone want to sell a moser s60, 9 inch or 12 bolt? my birthday just passed, and christmas is coming and could use a hookup..those damn things are expense..all appear 2k+ complete!

                    take care yall..

LM1 sounds great with stock manifolds and cats, with headers and ORY its loud and annoying and it only gets worse with a H/C car. Having the exhaust for like the first week was cool and it sounded down right nasty at WOT but anything else sucked. Electric Cutout FTMFW!!!

last time you heard it, it was till exiting through the tailpipes

what he said, i have the lm1 on my 99 z28 m6 with hooker headers and ory. even with 6th gear it was terrible on the highway until i was driving 80+ then it was fine. it was on the car when i bought it, i think just having it straight piped after the ory would have been better than the lm1 thrown in between the tail pipes. i have a factory muffler back on now until i can find something that sounsd better.

Cant you just roll some of that mat to bring the DB noise down? I know someone here did it not to long ago because of their obnoxious exhaust note????
