definately loudmouth I. If I'm not mistaken the LM2 had another muffler or a better resonator? something like that. I had the LM1, as did others. There was a discussion in another thread about this. Its so loud you either have to swap another muffler in it or go nuts because of the insane drone and loudness all the time. It even made my cheap GM plastic interior rattle on my old car. (it was a v6 too) If you want loud go with a cutout and then have a more moderate exhaust for cruising, you'll like that much better.

well the reason i ask is because im in works right now with a guy who is selling a lm II catback setup with dual/dual for $200. I currently have a flowmaster catback and it is not loud enough for me. my engine is completely stock besides lid and filter (ie stock manifolds and cats) and i want a little more rumble than what i currently have. Is the loudmouth II gonna be a lot louderthan my flowmaster or no?

yea it will still be considerably louder. The slp dual/dual setup is different than the LM2 though.. hope you know what exactly you are getting here. Go to slponline.com and it will show you exactly what the lm2 is. Its pretty much a straight single pipe with dual outlet exhaust, it had one bullet muffler/resonator up in the middle and the rest is all piping. It will be a lot louder than your flowmaster, the fact that you still have your manifolds should help it from being too excessive, but it will definately be louder yet.

They are both loud but the lm1 is slightly louder. If your planning on doing other mods I wouldn't even bother getting it. It's cheap for a reason.

Get an electric cutout and you'll be much happier. You'll be able to open the cutout whenever you w ant loud and then when you want to quiet it down a bit (like at night in your neighborhood) you can close the cutout and have a little bit quieter exhaust. I love my setup.

I just listed a loudmouth exhaust in the for sale section if your interested. I put a dynomax bullet muffler in place of the resonator, still pretty loud but takes away alot of the raspiness of the LM1 system. http://www.mifbody.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=30363

I would go with this idea or if you really want a cat back get the SLP Powerflo

If you plan on getting headers don't waste your time. If you plan on keeping manifolds and cats forever I'm sure you wont mind it.

yea my plans are to eventually put headers, with true duals with e-cutout on eah side either center mounted or figure out a way to exit from the side in front of the rear tires. From the looks of the LM II setup..it looks like the passenger side flows straight without a muffler and the drivers side tip gets mufflered. So basically only one pipe is getting the effects of the muffler. I had the car for 6 months and only put around 3,000 miles on it since i bought it, usually im not in it at night because if im gonna be out late...that means ill prolly have a couple beers and i wont take the chance driving home in my camaro so i usually only drive my car during daylight hours and i dont even drive it very much. I just want something for now that can give me some noise, so my car dont sound like such a wimp.
