  • External fuel pump

I was wondering if anybody had ever done an external fuel pump on a 94 z28. I tink my old pump is going, and dont have the resources right now to do a proper fuel pump swap. i figured i could just drop and external pump in and boost the flow that way. I also looked into just bypassing the in the tank pump, for an external pump. any ideas or suggestions?

I'll be curious about this myself. I'm looking at replacing here shortly, so it'd be good info.

Theoretically, it sounds like it could work, just put it onto the line coming for the original, as long as the bucket's in good shape, it should flow through the pump itself and out the line. Sure would ease a lot of grief in going through the floor or dropping the tank.

thats how i figured it should work, depending on where the harness is, on the old pump i might even be able to carry all the existing wires without even having to splice new wires. ive started to look into it but have a bit of research to do before i am ready to do it.
