  • #8 plug and wire is in, thanks to zspot98!!!!

I have to give credit where it is due. Yesterday Mike ( zspot98 ) and I hooked up on here about me not being able to change my #8 plug on my LS1. Well, he said it was no problem and he came over and pretty much did all the work. Took probably 1 1/2 hours total, just cause of the removal process. So thanks to Mike, he's my new hero, and I apologize for you having to use my cheap crappy tools (my good stuff and huge box isn't at the new house yet!).

After we went for a ride in his Z, it has a stall and its a badass ride I might add!!

Anyway, its relatively easy and I now think I can do it myself. Thanks Mike!!

What do you have to remove to get to that plug wire?

The coil pack and bent the AIR pipe a little to get in there. All from the top. Mike was kneeling on the battery alot, I did a little bit to.

The battery is your friend lol I tried from the bottom as well but actually though it was easier on top just takes some practice.

I tried, all he wanted was a soda, I'll be giving him a hand next time he calls upon me for sure!!!

We both agreed there wasn't much of a way if any at all to get them from underneath, so I applaud you for doing it from there. I'm with Jeff, much easier from up top. Damn manifold is in the way on the bottom.
