  • Want a new exhaust for my 96 rs

hey good morning everyone my car will hopefully be out of the shop today with a brand new rear end and i was really thinking aboutputting in a new exhuast i have some type of flowmaster in there now but there is a hole in it somewhere and still sounds good but i jsut want something new and was wondering what my options are i am also thinking about putting a set of pacesetter headers on there so i can run true dual but not sure yet

    thanks

do not run true dual on a 3.8l v6 fbody. OVERKILL

headers, carsound cat, and a catback system will take care of you just fine.

magnaflow is all stainless steel and they make a kit for our cars, I have it on mine and like it. No worries about it rusting out like flowmasters do

the headers arent bad to install, just take some time
i did it myself durring a sunday afternoon
but i dont suggest clamping the collector to the cat, weld it

im pretty sure jegs is cheaper on the headers, maybe like $10 or so

do you know if the magnaflows sounds better then the hooker aero chambers?
