Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Thanks! My uncle who is an auto mechanic said the blue smoke was just the headers and such wearing in. When I first started it up it did that for a minute or two than quit.
My uncle and I made the tailpipes/tips level with the ground so they are straight back. The tips arent slashed or anything so we thought it would look kind of weird if we slanted the tailpipes up more towards the bumper. It doesn't look bad in person, just in the video the cameraman is low to the ground so it looks obnoxious, lol.
Sounds good man! Digging into mine on Monday for a Hooker Header X-pipe setup, any advice?
Well just prepare yourself to be frustrated if things don't start going the right way. Get a torch ready to get some bolts off (2 in our case).
Here are some tips:
If your stock stuff is still on and have not done this before it's helpful to have a second hand with placing headers and getting them started.
Remove the alternator, starter, intake, serpentine belt, the dipstick tube, some spark plugs along the way, and also keep in mind that to slide the headers in you will have to remove the motor mount and jack up the engine to slide them in. When you first get the headers situated you will probably nick some AC lines I believe, just bend them a little bit and bend them back when the header is bolted on. There are some heat shields that we ended up taking off on the passenger side header path too for some clearance.
Be patient and have a weekend dedicated to this, its worth it in the end!
These were pacesetter headers, yours are gonna be different so not all of this may apply but most of it will.
