  • Custom Fuel rail on ebay

Quick question I need a fuel rail with a return line. I though my only option was a 97 corvette rail. I was looking on ebay for fuel rails and cam across a custom rail for 97+ ls1 engines will this allow me to have a return line?

    Thanks!

Just using this picture as an example because I know it's plumbed for 16 injectors.
Both of your rails should have 2 female ends(one on each side) and all you would need to do is get a few male fittings and a crossover and you can use the back of the drivers side rail as the feed, cross over in the front and use the back of the passenger side rail for the return

O.K so I would need to put the regulator on the back side of the passenger rail right?

      THANKS!!

It depends where you have the fuel coming in. If you have fuel coming in the back of the driver side then you want the return coming from the back of the passenger. This assumes you use the fuel crossover (the braided hose) in the front. It can also be used in back and have the inlet and outlet in the front, its just personal preference.

EDIT: If your doing some kind of swap ie v6 to v8, you can use a returnless rail and the 2001+ corvette fuel filter/regulator. Thats what I will be doing.

Its actually part of the vette fuel filter. So just go to any parts store (call around for prices) should be around 45 or 50 bucks. And ask for a 2001 corvette fuel filter. Looks like a regular filter it just has 2 outputs.

            Heres a picture.
            Fuel in

One of these is out and the other is your return to tank. It should be labeled on the filter.
