            wouldnt i get check engine all the time
            plus my egr is new lol

              Yeah, the check engine light will randomly come on once you're at operating temperature and you're coasting after a spirited acceleration. Atleast, that's when mine usually came on. You'll have more carbon build up on the exhaust tips, too. Ever since I had the EGR blocked off it seemed like I could never keep my tips clean.

                Just curious....How long did it take you to take the headers off? I'm going to be swapping mine this spring and was trying to see how long it takes approx.

                  ^its gonna take A LOT longer on your car since there is NO room, lol.

                    My buddy Jeff did it to his 1998 TA and said he got them out and installed his new ones in a few hours. Mind you we have access to a car lift as well.

                      ahh, lift helps A TON. Also, having someone that has done it before helps a lot as well.

                        well i got them off in like 1 hr 30 min and getting the new ones on took less time
                        idk about a z28 but the 3800's have stupid heat sheilds that block most of the studs
                        i got lucky and they broke off easily

                          yeah i probally would just keep it

                          i hate those engine lights
                          the one in my car would always go off, saying that my post cat sensor was messed up or w/e
                          becuase theres nothing in my cat =)
                          thats why i got a simulator so now i dont have to see it
