Why mids and not Long Tubes?

The reason I got mid lengths are because I bought them used for $90 shipped in good condition.

Mine are like these but silver... I think they call it Armor coat. I do not believe Pacesetter makes long tubes for V6's.

mines alreadly gutted, but it kinda echos when you let off so im running strait pipe thru it

so why not just hack it off and go pipe only? We don't have inspections in MI so your fine there.

BTW the 3.8 sounds bad with no cat, I would recommend going with a carsound cat on it

ive had mine gutted for a while, the sound really isnt bad, just when you let off it echos

That makes me think...

What size is the inlet on the stock cat? I know most high flows are 2.5" or 3".

i cut right before that near the cats weld kinda
and it was about 2.6

because if a cop looks under there because he thinks its "too loud", you get a fix it ticket, and more fines for breaking the clean air act.

what my dad said lol
and i got a O2 sensor simulator, but ill keep the rear sensor in insted of getting a plug that way it looks "stock"

its not going to be loud enough to warrant a cop getting under the car...also most are too lazy. It is a v6, not a v8, loud is not an issue. Without the cat there is a ton more rasp, that is what I am saying sounds bad

the cop at my school tried giving my dad a ticket for his stock impala being too "noisy"
