  • Exhaust Tips??

I want to get some new tips. The ones on right now are just ugly IMO...and i am wondering how to go about doing this? Can i do it myself if so write ups?

I was thinking about taking an oxyactile (don't know the spelling) torch and and welding the tips to the exhaust? I'm pretty handy with one. Would brazing work?

Or should i just go to a muffler shop? Would they be able to do it and how much roughly?

Thinking corsa clone's, hookers, or something!! What u guys think?

I would just pay a shop to do it. Should only be like 20-30 bucks to weld em on

Hooker tips are ugly IMO, I have them lol.
Get some Corsa clones. If they say they want more than $20-30 to weld them on go somewhere else.

I think brazing with aluminized pipe is difficult.

I use to have a set on my car and loved them. And the fact that I had only $20 into them including buying them and install was pretty nice too.

                          hey what the hell lol

What do the C6 tips look like now that you have me interested?

Also, what would be a good place to buy tips? EBAY? and is there a set length and diameter that i would have to run? I don't know what diameter my exhaust is since its in storage.

                          Thanks
