  • Who does P&P jobs in MI?

Possibly looking to port and polish the heads on my 5.3. Who does this and roughly whats the cost for something like this?

I'm not sure where the best place to get it done is, but I do know it's not cheap. I think a lot of people will go with a nice set of aftermarket heads and get the same gain as porting and polishing the stock set and the price is not a whole lot more.

Call Stan Boyd over at E.V.I. ( Engineered Victories Inc. ) his number is (810) 407-0956. He does some wicked stuff with LS cars over there and has a chassis dyno for in house tuning. He's right on Atherton and Irish and I see your from Burton so that's not far from you. Tell him Lance from The Mid Michigan Modern Muscle Car Club sent you and ask if you can get a discount he was giving our club of 10% off your first visit.

Or you can help support our sponsors by going through Justin - he has a guy who can do amazing port and polish jobs - less than $500.

Didnt know EVI did that, they are the ones who will be tuning my car when I get it all put together, im only about 2 miles away from them, so thats good.

I was also hoping someone on here did it, I like and trust you guys and would have no problem supporting our sponsors. Thanks B!

We'd be glad to help you out. How wild are you looking to go? and whats your budget? I'm sure we can put a package together that will make more power than the next guy for the price. Our ls heads with support mods through an m6 have made 470ish rwhp on a 346.

As far as the throttle body goes, we'd be gla to do that too.

Steve, I would have loved to send these your way, but the motor is officially buttoned up minus the deflector that goes over the crank and the power steering pulley that my dad broke last night.

But you will be seeing my computer here shortly.
