  • Magnaflow Cat

Ok my camaro has 222k and needs a new cat

Went to magnaflow website to see what I would need and the MSRP is $163.83 and part number 91006, but searched google and found same cat for $65 dollars

    http://www.car-sound.com/02product/d...niversal=91006

Checked on ebay and they have a Camaro magnaflow cat for 65ish , but part number 94105 but looks the same?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...mZ140124368015

So question to you guys would be if you have the ebay magnaflow cat.. If I ordered that one it should work fine right? Even though the part numbers dont match up because I thought they are suppose to.

I know a couple people pay around $65 for a carsound high flow cat but I just need somethign thats unclogged haha

Hey man, most of those cats are pretty universal. I know ZZP sells the cats for our car for pretty cheap. That's where i bought mine, but most of those magnaflow cats are universal because they are just rated to flow a certain amount of air so they are pretty interchangable. Well good luck man.

meh I heard a couple and promised myself I would not do that for a v6.

So anyone have anymore input on the cats? I know catco high flow cats tend to throw check engine codes so carsound is the way I want to go

you can still buy o2 simulators from zzp performance and you will never have to worry about those codes again.

should work, jsut make sure you get the right inlet/outlet. You should also be able to get around 100 out of your stock cat at a scrapyard. Yes it sounds weird but you can acctually make money off getting rid of the stocker lol
