loudest exhaust...

hey ive got hooker super comp full length ceramic coated headers with the 3" borla cat back exhaust, with no cats and 3" exhaust from headers to the borla system. i was wondering what your suggestions are on a louder exhuast system? what make is the loudest for the ls1?

SLP Loudmouth would be the loudest full catback probably. There is no muffler in it, just a big resonator. It also performs the best I belive, because it flows very well.

EDIT: Oh and I might be interested in that Borla for the right price.

would the loud mouth resonator fit in the borla muffler location? the only thing i have on it right now is the borla muffler, 3" exhaust headers and dump.

so you dont have a regular borla system, you just have a bullet style muffler?

Why do you want extremely loud exhaust? Its fun for a few days... or a few hours.

because i like it, i have an electronic dump at the end but i leave it open almost all the time due to the borla not being loud enough

Loundmouth 1 will be the loudest catback. I'm sure some TD's dumper before the axle with bullets will be louder tho.

yes they do except i need to relocate to to right after the y-pipe so it will be louder

you dont think its loud enough because the borla puts it behind the car. if you want it loud, put your dump under the car so it reverbs... youll smile then.

not always true, my loudmouth was rediculously loud out the back, so i put a twister bullet in there to quiet it but it didnt really quiet it that much.

and to who started the thread, if you want a loud exhaust im taking off my loudmouth this week and will be selling it if you wanted. It does have the twister muffler in it now though too.

i started it, i have the borla cat back, with no cats long tube headers and electronic dump at the back, i need to see if the slp lm will fit in place of the borla muffler first but how much are you asking just for the lm muffler or resonator?

Where is this electronic dump at? Move it to just behind the Y-Pipe, you'll DEFINITELY be happy then. . .

right at the end, thats where i want to move it but i still want a little louder when its closed, the borla doesnt cut it any more ha, so i ru the dump open
