I did the !cat in the beginning of spring and had the car tuned so no SES light, but now im looking at a magnaflow for the car, will the cat delete make it sound worse or better? The car is already much louder without the cat on the stock exhaust.

!cat is always going to be louder, no matter what exhaust you put on it. Sometimes it sounds alright and other times it sounds horrible on cars------------------------------------------

I think it would sound better with a carsound cat in there with the magnaflow catback------------------------------------------

It's gonna be LOUD as heck with no cat and a Magnaflow!!! Mine's too loud WITH the cat and is annoying at cruising speed. It seems a bit better now that I have some miles on it, or I'm just getting used to it.Comment

leave the cat, at times I hate the sound of mine and I just have a simple 3 inch hi flow bullet cat (pretty much no restriction though lol) then again after that is just a twister bullet on the slp lm1 lol-Derek-

HAHA...Magnaflow is by no means quiet!!! It would be even less so without a cat! You could try a SLP Dual/Dual. I think SLP has an adapter kit to mate it to the stock V6 exhaust.Comment

no they are different but I've been looking for a Dual/Dual for a good price forever and they are hard to come by.Doing less with more
