Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Well tonight I began the header install. Got the ypipe off, spark plugs out, heat shields off, and then soaked the manifold bolts in some penatrating oil for the night so hopefully they won't break when I go to remove them. Going to get the old manis off tomorrow and throw on the Headers, can't wait!
Then it is time to do the !pass wire mod and shave the door moldings.

2003 CBR600RR, Modded, Black, and Fast!!! SOLDNOW...2008 Yamaha R6!! All I have left is a 1995 Kawi SXi Stand up modded JetSki , and a 16 Foot Snipe Saliboat
Well got the old manifolds off, no broken bolts! I am really happy about that. Put the passenger header on and tightened it up. Taking a break for some food right now, then going out to put the drivers side on.
Both 02 sensors came out of the manifolds just fine, however the one in the ypipe I had to heat it up and unfortunetely the threads were messed up bad. Going to have to buy a new sensor for the ypipe on monday.
The install isn't that bad, just really time consuming if you only have one person like I do for the most part except for when my dad comes out and helps every once in a while.
Also I have been taking pics as I go. Will get them all up once I am all done.

A little of both, whatever I could reach I would from the bottom. Both of the old manifolds came out the bottom no problem with the heat shields off them.
Uploading pics right now and then will post here some pics.

I am debating on removing my EGR or not right now. I can tune it for the code it would throw with my hp tuners, and it would clean up the engine bay. hmm....

Lookin good and easy! I can see already how much difference there is between stock and aftermarket headers! Gotta get me some of them. Later this year maybe once I pay off my current mods...
Took it for a ride today, sounds real good, just gotta weld up the cat area some more, there is a slight leak there yet on top which is a pain to get at for welding.
Sound clip coming tonight.
