JAAM Ram Air Mod

Decided to try out the JAAM kit.. Not sure if it works or not, but what the hell.. The premise is to seal the hood to the air intake box. I installed a diverter plate below the snorkels that is supposed to direct more air towards the air intake, removed the baffles out of the snorkels and installed a seal kit that seals the hood to the air intake.. Supposed to feel the effects beginning at 60 MPH and supposedly 15-20 HP at speeds of 100 and above. Do I believe all this, NO...lol But I like the way it dresses up the front of the engine bay and will definately be getting more air into the motor.. Don't mind the red paint where the baffles were, have some cleaning to do...




Can a smart person explain the table above? Makes no sense to me...

All that graph shows is that as your speed increase the pressure increases, which is true in any fluid motion. You are going to get a nice cooler charge of fresh air from it though. Pressure is usually in units of force per unit area. ie pounds per square inch.
