    Now it works!

My dad helped me a TON with wiring this thing up this morning. His knowledge from working on a million of these cars throughout the years (not mechanically, but like car stereo/alarms and such) helped me with this, since this is wiring now.

Sounds awesome, and it is LOUD. <3!

So, here are some pictures, and a video (Camera didn't capture the volume difference, but you can infer)!

        Yeah, yeah...I'll get to that.

I'm actually kinda scared to drive with it open and get on it...

ummm that cutout is supposed to point downward to clear the fumes, they way it sits I can see it heating up a lot of stuff under there and stinking to high heavens.

The reason it isn't pointed down is all for ground clearance (not to mention, what the exhaust hits, is angled down, so it's basically a turndown, but not.

I don't leave it open for long, and it's been just fine, thus far.

if you get the right kind of turn down like the ones on stock exhausts for 4th gens it wont hurt ground clearence but you probaly dont need it if you don't use it alot

Yeah, I'm scared to run with it open, because I like to get on it sometimes...I'm afraid a cop will come out of nowhere.

Was cruising on Woodward when I told my friend to watch that a cop will come out of nowhere and pull me over. Well, I only left it open till just when I was taking off from a light, and then like, 1/8th of a mile later, a cop passes me in the lane to the right of me...

you can open them half way, you have to hold down the switch for 5 seconds or so to be fully opened/closed.

Yeah, but cops around here are usually pricks.

I have a week left of high school, though - it's staying open there, though - I'm so excited!

Not to mention according to Michigan law, exhaust cutouts are illegal. You need to bolt a header collector turndown onto that thing. I wouldn't want it open with where it's pointed now.

looks good but that will need to be adjusted to point down more/or need a turn down.

if left how it is, it will heat the rear passenger seat floor up so much it will actually burn the interior carpet...ask me how I know
