decided to go new direction with intake color.

well from the stock look we went with chrome.



had a prob was powder coated chrome would rub off clear turns yellow or changes the color completly so went with this color to match the block and dash of the car. figured with the stainless and polished alluminum under the hood with mirrors this would look good, what do ya think.










plus went 58 mm. and board out the intake for more power.

thanks guys, just ran into troble tryin to do the intake in the chrome more trouble than it was worth thought about this and brian(b.a.camaro) said it outloud thought what the heck lets go for it. sat it on the motor tonight looks fricken sweet. might make you guys wait till m & g to see it together.

both were powder coating but the chrome would rub off, if i put clear on it it dulled out. powder coat clear was just as bad so i changed color's to not worry about it. but i have polished alluminum valve covers, fuel rail covers and suspension bar under the hood with stainless radiator support bracket, stainless fuse box cover, and adding computer cover to. plus mirrors under the hood and atop the battery. i think i have a little bit of shine that this wont hurt. plus water pump and pully bracket are powdercoated polished look.

that was the 2nd time putting the motor back in used it for like motor mount bolts plus tapping. i mean hey if your gonna do the job go big or go home.
