Well, I havent been on in awhile. I just got around to getting the Formula together. Spent about $2,000 so far, still have some stuff to get tomorrow. Im taking it in and having my stuff installed this weekend and should be cruising soon.

Anyways, I went to get a K&N CAI and I have the rare Traction option on my car, well I was told that it will not fit due to having that. Will it fit? I don't see a difference and why it won't fit. Any info on how to go about the CAI setup done would be awesome.

Huh? A CAI won't fit because you have a traction option?

      That doesn't make sense...

On LS cars the traction control unit is behind the battery on the passenger side. LT1's have the air intake box on the drivers side. I thought the traction control was on the passenger side on these cars as well.

Well, I pulled my stock intake off yesterday, I don't see anything at all that would cause the CAI not to fit. Im not sure at all why the guy told me this?? According to the books at Lane Automotive (Watervilet, Mi) it wont fit if you have Traction Control..Im going to order through Auto Zone since I dont want to make another hour trip to pick one up... Thanks for the help and insight guys.
