exhaust exit

Ok so this isnt f-body related but i have a 94 grand cherrokee and i just cut the exhaust off last night. I have a thrush glass pack for it. do you think i should just let it flow strait out put a turn down on it or go side exhaust. Mind if it is side exhaust its only one side that may look dumb.

i kinda don't wann run pipe to the back did you mean that or just no tip on the glasspack?

sometimes with it just exiting out of the glass pack you get alot of exhaust smell inside.... sometimes not always.... I say run it out the back or get it past the doors a little and a turn down.

I was thinking out the back. If you don't wanna do that, I'd aim it down them from the glasspack.

this is my cheap winter beater so i don't feel like running pipe, mabey ill just do the turn down

Well if you don't mind the smell or anything do it right off the glass pack.. you probably don't even need a turn down.

yea actully the smell kinda grew on me. I kinda like it lol. Im gunna go work on it now.

you'd be surprised how much it helps with noise and vibration on the inside... especially if the exhaust is blowing on something

Do a turn down, going stright could be harmful with the gases comin into the cab.

well i havent done anything with the exit yet. But i have to say the glass pack sounds good on it. i was worried b/c its a inline 6 but i like the sound on it better than the sound of my camaro.
