  • Headers..

Hey guys, Just wondering what your guys opinions would be. Im looking at getting headers, only problem is that I dont have alot of money(such is life ) so I was just wondering if there is a good brand that isnt super expensive that you guys would recommend?

The QTP headers are supposed to be great for the price but Pacesetters are much more inexpensive. I think if it was me I'd look into and get the Pacesetters.

I would say to go with a set of Hooker headers, I've had a really good experience with their products. Money is an issue, so you might want to look into buying used. Just my $.02

Look on LS1tech, I picked up my non-emissions pacesetter with y-pipe for $275 shipped. Some guy is selling a coated set right now for $200 those will be your best bet.

i second jeff.... i was gonna say the pacesetters from the get-go. they are rather inexpensive. and i've yet to hear anything bad about 'em. plus i've heard they're the easiest LongTubes to get to fit in. but definatly check LS1Tech.com in the ForSale section.

We carry a variety of headers, but by far Pacesetter have been the most popular lately. They are nice and for the money I don't think you can beat them. If you can't find any used, don't hesitate to give us a call.

yeah, Ill prob. be giving you a call then. Do I wanna go with the No EGR? and then I have to order the o2 simulators since Im getting the ORY right? Anything else I need to do? Im looking at the coated LT Pacesetters and then the ORY.

i dont know if its different on the LS1s or not, but im pretty sure on LT1s the rear sensors can be tuned out so you dont have to drop triple digits on simulators.

You can delete the codes for the rear O2 sensors using HPtuner or LS1Edit or any other program. IMO why not delete the AIR and EGR. There is no need for them since Mi has no emmisions and it cleans up the engine bay a little too.
