Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

actually i have a flowmaster on mine right now and i absolutely hate the way it sounds. hopefully money will allow me to swap it out for something better before spring. so if anyone is interested in one, let me know. barely has a 1000 miles on it and its a transverse mufffler (1 in and 2 out style)

i dont know, whats it worth to ya. i paid $200 installed, but im not looking at getting my money back, just getting something for it. it will just sit around, unless i could put it on my silverado? make me an offer Ben
I have a 2000 Camaro v6 and I think it sounds pretty good for in town driving and cruising. I have a hi flow cat and got rid of the resonator that came with the cat back system. It has a good tune at RPM's under say 3-3.5k, but once you start pushing down the pedal you're going to hear some bad stuff..haha.

When would you be looking to sell it? Do you have any pics? What model muffler is it, 40 or 80?

I swapped my blowmaster for a Magnaflow. Then I got a cut out, which was the best choice I've made so far. The Flowmaster actually didn't sound to bad, it was much louder, especially at speed. The Magnaflow has a clean crisp sound, but it is 5X quieter after I installed smaller exhaust tips. The other plus with a Flowmaster is the weight. I would guess that the Flowmaster weights half the weight compared to a packed muffler. If you currently have a Flowmaster I would keep it. Get a cut out don't go through all the cost I did.
I have heard some V6's with Flowmasters and they sound pretty good.
eh I use to love flowmaster, first thing I did to a car when i got it was pop a flow on it.
I had one on my old 96 3800 and it sounded pretty good, my LT1 sounded OK, got a hooker catback that is waiting to go on now, flowmaster is just too loud and not enough tone IMO
