no if you want something like that let me know i have blowers at my work made to force 25 lbs of material at 25 mph down 100yards...lol im talking some in the 900cfm range really if you could get a power inverter big enough it would work...lol but the problem is it has to go with the rpm of the motor you cant just blow air at high speed and think its going to make you fast... you will run lean at start up and be able to watch your pistons eject the car at wicked fast speeds...lol

Yeah, if only it was a variable-speed electric motor hooked up to the throttle cable. That would probably work better. lolNick H.

well im sure you could or just tap inot your throttle positioning sensor... but still your talking alot of wiring and messing with the computer... and what happens when that motor burns up while your driving? all of a sudden you have a badly restricted air flow... if you could find something you think is reliable enough and that wouldnt suck your battery dead it might work but by the time thats all said and done you might as well have gone to the junkyard bought a turbo and just welded it on your manifold... they do make turbo manifolds for the 2.8 3.1 and 3.4 blocks... they have sence the early 90's on the turbo 3.1 and turbos now a days arnt expensive... its figuring out how to put it on your engine at the right boost without blowing it up thats expensive...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. I think if they worked so well you'd see them more mainstream. I wouldn't waste my money, save up and buy a 50-100 shot of nitrous or something.

Yeah, I want to turbo my LT1 when I install it. I might just go with a basic Vortech turbocharger setup or something out of the Summit catalog.Nick H.

well i still got plenty of hose left over nice thick stuff way better than factory... the filter you will have to decide on... but get a cone filter high flow as big as you can find that i can take out of the engine bay...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. vortech makes superchargers not turbo kits.... for the LS1 F-bodies...Vortech makes one of the most un-attractive supercharger kits lol.... no joke it looks like the charge pipe was an afterthought!1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

well sence you dont have a hood scoop yet just get like the ricer filter for now its what i do on all my friends cars for them with a factory box... as big and as nice as you can find... then i route it into the front bumper or side fender where it has plenty of air flow but out of any rain or mud... and it sounds mean as hell when all the air is sucking in from outside the engine bay... seriously my buddys little 1.8 hyundai has never been quicker with the exhaust and tune up and the high flow filter he gained atleast 20hp i would say if not more outta that little thing...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. banks makes a nice twin turbo and single turbo kit too little pricey but way better numbers they also make the belt driven turbo "supercharger kits"Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice.
