Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

This looks like nothing more than a tb spacer with the swirling effect to it except this thing goes in after the airbox or maf I guess. I am NOT thinking of getting one, seems a little far fetched in their claims, funny acutually. Here is the link.
Looks like another get-rich-quick scheme to me. I have seen so many of these products that claim to boost hp, gas mileage, and torque by so much that it is obviously a ploy to try and rip off anyone that thinks they have a legitimate claim. I don't think it's worth the money. Anyone that buys it only thinks they have more power because they have the product. I say screw them. They can steal somebody else's money, but mine is going into the ultimate power adder for any V6 F-Body: A V8 swap. lol
if you buy one those, im sorry, you are not a car enthusiast. lol. swirling air isnt going to do anything.... but... restrict airflow. so yea, youre paying somebody for a horsepower decrease basically.
"In a completely stock 99' Dodge Neon sport, I gained ten horses and went from 34-37 wheel horsepower to 44-47 wheel horsepower (using a G-Tech Pro performance meter). I have also noted (when I drive responsibly) a gain in gas mileage. I also lost a full second off my Quarter-mile times; from 16.8 to 15.8 and probably could have done better with more time with the G-Tech." -Francis Mize (Cincinnati,OH)
And at the bottom...

all you really need is a pepsi can and some tin clippers...lol just cut some baldes in it and make it swirl the air...i could see how it might help smaller engines like 3.0 and smaller but really anthing bigger its just going to block the air flow...if you want better gas millage and an extra little bit of HP save the money and buy a nice high flow air filter... stock air filters today are horibal stupid air boxes in the worst places. first thing i do on any car is get a CAI and if they dont make one i make my own go to lowes get a 31/2 inch shop vac line and a high flow filter.. CAI is out of the enigne bay not on some shiney chrome tube you bought at wallmart for your civic..lol

Brian, that is the best quote ever! I guess there really isn't any point in modding a Neon for any real amount of horsepower. 34-37 HP at the wheels? Even a late-80's honda had more than that! That guy had no frickin' clue what he was talking about! I think we should make him an O-Pipe for his exhaust and tell him it will put him at over 100 hp! lmao!
That nifty gadget is as bad as what I did to my 84 Olds Cutlass.
Mom had a Hair dryer that died.... So...I thought...Blower..Hmm...
I took out the 12V hair dryer motor, and stuck it in the snorkle of my air cleaner, and put a toggle switch on the dash.
Hey...when your 16, and no money... You'll try ANYTHING for power..
It worked a little bit, it would at least burn the tires on my little 231 after the install, but other than that...eh...wasn't so hot. (Pardon the pun)
Are you serious?! Do you have pics? I even saw a product like that on EBay once. . . I still see it all over the place. I always wondered if they worked. . . I'll post a link in a minute.
