Ok so the other day my friend decided to clean his cone filter from his KN fipk thing...so i decided to do mine since he had all the crap out and stuff....well aparently that SS "hood scoop" thing actually kindof works...i had to take a popsicle stick to scrape all the damn bugs out of my filter...ooops i guess i should clean it a little more often! not to hard to do, just rinse it in warm water after you spray the cleaner stuff on it and then let it dry before you re-oil it. now i have a "brand new" filter again woot woot!!

Yeah I have that kit and will be cleaning this winter, I'm sure its nasty as hell.Doing less with more
