  • K&N filter

    Meh...

I will be getting some big checks coming since im working more hours..

and I was going through some old stuff and found my cai with the k&n filter...I was thinking about putting it back on but it really never did anything..

Now..I really want to save up for an ls1, but I most likely will be getting my dads 01 t/a probably next year or few more down the road (he already told me its mine )..

so i figure il just somewhat make my car a little faster than it is..plus..my mpg really sucks ass and this could improve it or so i heard

do you think this would work fine for more hp and better gas mileage

    http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...Prod=57-3010-1

says it will work for the 3.4 when I did the search

im confused.. you said you found ur k and n and CAI? it would be pointless to get a FIPK because it is essentially the same as ur CAI then..

You really won't see ANY gain...I've got one too...maybe a shade better MPG, but you can get that with just buying quality gas...

The only savings you may see is not replacing filters every 6000 miles.

        Clean, rinse, oil.

They will last forever...just have to buy the cleaning kit every once in a while...

only time an air filter gives a big gain is if you haven't replaced yours in 100k miles.

Agreed...and then it's not so much a "gain" as recovering what you've already lost...

It's nice to have, don't get me wrong, but as long as you keep the filter clean, you'll be fine...
