How do I disable my auto headlights

It's a bit trickier than just a fuse. Helped my buddy out with it the other day.
First, remove the radio. Slide it forward and down enough to gain access behind it. The DRL (Daytime Running Lights) module is back on the right side. Slide it up and out of its holder. There's two connectors (black and blue). Make note of the blue connector. There should be 8 spots (7 used). Be careful now, but take the DRL module apart. The first spot of interest (we'll call it 1) is a black ground wire and wire 3 is a pink wire (hot). The spot inbetween (2) shouldnt have anything in it. What you want to do is solder a wire between 1 and 2 on the circuitboard. This should get the Daytime running lights disabled for ya.1995 Trans Am Firebird. LT1 with 6 Speed manual. cc503 Cam. My bad, thought you said daytime running lights not auto lights. I'll leave the other post up there for anyone else who wants it...but as for the automatic lights (I'm assuming your talking about the headlights turning on automatically) there's a photosensor on the dash right above where the DRL module was. You can either get to it by removing the radio or removing the top trim. Basically just replace the sensor with a straight wire. That should get ya all set1995 Trans Am Firebird. Be careful if your car has sat out in the sun and the plastic is brittle. I tried to do this on my V6 and broke 2 pieces off the vent on the dash and when I tried to pry up to pop it off the velcro it started to crack. I had to pull the radio and get to it that way. If you have big hands it's a pain. I installed a resistor in it instead of a piece of wire but I heard the wire works as well since the TA's don't have the auto headlights.

Auto headlights suck!!! They come on when you don't want them to and don't come on when they should. I've disabled them on every vehicle I've owned that's had them. I'm not that lazy I can't figure out when I need to turn on or off my own headlights! Unfortunately there are people that do need it!

I love the auto lights on my truck. And the only thing I have to do to disable them is turn the headlight switch from auto to off.
