Does anyone know of any good write ups for doing a 24x conversion. Particularly a parts list.

There was at least 1 good one on LS1tech back in the day in the LT1 section. Also, EFI connections sells all the parts including the harness if you wanted (can buy as a complete kit I believe), and while their instructions leave something to be desired all of the information is there. There are a couple of us on this board have done it so feel free to ask away. I have a good friend who does vehicle wiring so I just bought the big parts from EFI connections and left the rest up to my buddy.

Also, a good single roller chain will be just fine. Don't waste your money on their expensive-ass timing cover. I have an LT4 Extreme Duty timing set I'd sell if you are interested. Keeps the mechanical water pump if that matters to you. Otherwise if you're going electric there's a good Cloyes single roller that will be all you ever need.

If you've got the cheddar, definitely do it. You'll open up your tuning options immensely and you'll never have to worry about your ignition again.
